DESIGN IN ACTION: FOOD CHIASMA
29-30 APR 2013 – ELGIN
As part of Design in Action, Gray’s School of Art is leading a two day Chiasma event at Oakwood Cookery School in Elgin on April 29th and 30th 2013. The Chiasma is open to all varieties of entrepreneurs, businesses, academics and designers.
There is a vibrant community of artisan producers in rural Scotland creating food of outstanding quality. This Chiasma will focus on ways to further build and diversify whilst utilising the unique nature of the produce. The Chiasma is FREE to attend! All you need to provide is your know-how and creativity. And you may walk away with a brand new business opportunity as a result.
The Chiasma is a cross-disciplinary creative space where new thinking and radical innovation are encouraged. Funding of up to £20,000 per project and tailored business support will be available to successful Chiasma participants.
