Painting Students Make Charity Donation

Painting students here at Gray’s have recently made donations to local charities.

Painting graduates Sarah Jamieson and Laura Mullen last week presented cheques for £500, collected from the sales of the 2014 Painting Degree Show catalogue, to this year’s chosen charities who were CLAN and Befriend a Child.

For the past few years the graduating class of the painting department has produced a catalogue of their degree show. This year sales exceeded last year’s total with an amazing 700 plus sold, with all of the proceeds going to the charities.

The 2014 catalogue was once again funded and produced by the students with money raised from the humble Bake Sale (a Gray’s tradition) and generous donations from both Aberdeen Asset Management and Morrison construction.
