Student trip to NYC

Recently students from the design courses here at Gray’s embarked on somewhat of a school trip, flying out to New York to visit design galleries, agencies and to take in the city.

The NYC trip is an regular excursion for the design courses with the trip being a stand out highlight of the students time here at Gray’s.

Leaving Scotland for an even colder city may have been a bit of a shock to some of the students systems with the lakes of Central Park still frozen but the cold couldn’t dampen the students enthusiasm for the city. The students were given a free reign to explore the city, with a suggested itinerary of places to visit as well as some pre organised timetabled trips to such as the guided tour of photobook publisher and gallery the Aperture Foundation.

Whilst the students were in New York the city held its famous St Patrick’s day parade
