Erasmus exhibition 2015
Erasmus is the European Commission’s flagship educational programme for Higher Education students, teachers and institutions.
It provides opportunities for students to study or undertake a work placement abroad as part of their degree. Places are awarded to students and staff on the basis of academic and linguistic ability, enthusiasm and ambassadorial qualities.
It also broadens a students horizons by exposing them to different environments and methods for making work. We all take in our surroundings and have favoured methods of approaching making work, the Erasmus programme gives students the chance to make work in a completely different way and usually has a lasting positive imprint on that students practice.
The students from last years exchanges held an exhibition of the projects they produced whilst at our partner institutions. The work which ranged from fashion & textiles to print and illustration was held in the Gray’s foyer exhibition space.
