GIR Exhibition – Harmony Bury & Ane Smith

Graduates in Residents (GIRS) Harmony Bury and Ane Smith held a show of their work produced during their residency.

Whilst working with different mediums and materials, there is an overlapping of tone and contextual influences throughout the show. The two bodies of work hang really closely together and complement each other to a degree not usually associated with mixed shows.

The Graduate Residencies allow invited graduates to return for one final year to produce work, build experience and act as an example of strong studio practice for our undergraduates. The residency acts as both an incubator and spring board for recent graduates to spend one year with the support of the school to hone their practices before making their way into the outer world.

We wish Harmony and Ane all the best with their post Gray’s adventures.
